Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love is expected to play Monday night against the Chicago Bulls, according to Tom Withers of the Associated Press.

Love missed Friday's win over the Los Angeles Clippers as he continues to deal with back spasms. The forward experienced the spasms during the Cavaliers' 109-102 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday and had to be tended to by trainers before re-entering.

"I don’t know what causes it, but when it does happen it’s pretty paralyzing," Love said. "I’m happy it’s just a spasm. It’s just something kind of day by day. Treat it as is and go along and hope it doesn’t happen."

In Love's first year with the Cavaliers, the power forward is averaging 17.7 points per game with 10.3 rebounds in 39 games. He's playing 35.7 minutes per game and is shooting 43 percent from the field.

Last week, Love said that he expects to return to Cleveland next season.

The Cavaliers (21-20) host the Bulls (27-15) on Monday night at 7:30 p.m. ET.
