Memphis Grizzlies shooting guard Vince Carter has suffered a left foot tendon injury, the team announced on Friday.

A news release notes that he will be re-evaluated "within the next week."
Over 44 games this season, Carter has averaged 6.0 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists.
The 38-year-old is in his first season in Memphis after spending the previous three with the Dallas Mavericks.
The Grizzlies host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday.
