Gerald Henderson dunked all over Jusuf Nurkic as the Hornets easily disposed of the Nuggets104-86 in Denver on Saturday.

With Denver leading 11-9 midway through the first quarter, Henderson dribbled straight down Broadway on an inbounds play. A blown coverage by the Nuggets' defense allowed Henderson to get a running start, and he made the most of it by launching himself high in the air to throw down a strong one-handed tomahawk dunk over Nurkic, a 6-foot-11 center.

The forceful slam brought Charlotte's bench to its feet. By the end of the first quarter, Charlotte was leading 30-15. By halftime, the one-sided game had been blown wide open as the Hornets led 62-30.

Henderson is no stranger to high-flying heroics. In 2012, he threw down one of the best dunks in recent memory when he launched up and over then-Lakers center Dwight Howard.

Cody Zeller led the Hornets with 21 points and eight rebounds. Henderson added eight points and four rebounds.
