ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony is sitting out the New York Knicks' final game before the All-Star break because of a sore left knee.

Anthony is inactive for Wednesday night's game against the Orlando Magic to rest. He left in the fourth quarter of the Knicks' loss to Miami on Monday after playing 32 minutes and scoring 26 points before his exit. It is the 13th game this season that Anthony has missed.

Knicks coach Derek Fisher says that Anthony will make the trip to the All-Star festivities this week, but that the decision whether to play in Sunday's game would be up to Anthony.
