Former NBA player Steve Francis was choked and dragged by his chain at a Houston rap show over the weekend.

The former Rockets guard was brought on stage by Houston rap duo Sauce Twinz. But an argument turned into chaos, and an unidentified male grabbed Francis by the chain around his neck.

According to TMZ, the man ultimately removed the chain from Francis' neck and stole it.

Francis played for the Rockets from 1999-2004 and remained in the NBA until 2008 after stints with the Orlando Magic, New York Knicks and a return to Houston. He made three straight All-Star games from 2002-04 and was named the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2000.
