The Phoenix Suns will sign point guard A.J. Price to a 10-day contract and allow point guard Seth Curry's 10-day deal to expire on Friday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

The Suns signed Curry on March 11, and in two appearances for Phoenix, the 24-year-old has one rebound and 0.5 assists in four minutes per game. Prior to joining the Suns, Curry had recorded 23.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 36 games with the Erie Bayhawks of the NBA Developmental League.

A Duke grad and the younger brother of Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, Seth Curry appeared in two NBA games last season, one each for the Memphis Grizzlies and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Suns sign center Earl Barron for rest of season

Price, 28, has played 10 games for the Indiana Pacers and 11 games for the Cavaliers already this season. He had 10.5 points and 2.7 assists in 19 minutes per game with Indiana before being released in November. Cleveland claimed him off waivers, and he averaged two points and 1.2 assists in eight minutes per game. The Cavaliers released him in January.

Price, selected in the second round of the 2009 draft, has averaged 5.9 points, 2.2 assists and 1.5 rebounds in 256 games across six career seasons.

Phoenix is 36-33 so far this season, and 2.5 games out of eighth place in the Western Conference. The Suns will travel to play the Houston Rockets on Saturday night.
