[daily_cut.NBA] With just seconds remaining in the first half and Los Angeles already leading 61-33, J.J. Redick slid a pass to a cutting Jordan. The paint opened wide in front of the Clippers' athletic big man and he dove directly toward the hoop, launching off one leg for a right-handed dunk attempt.
Smith deserves credit for trying to rotate over to contest the slam from the weakside, but this finish was like taking candy from a baby. Jordan pummeled the dunk over Smith, much to the delight of the Clippers' bench.
L.A. built a 30-point lead before halftime and cruised to the easy win.
