Video: Celtics' Jae Crowder hits last-second game-winner to beat Raptors

Celtics forward Jae Crowder hit a last-second game-winner to lift Boston to a 95-93 home victory over Toronto on Tuesday.

This tense contest with playoff implications went back-and-forth late as the teams traded buckets in the final minute. With 3.1 seconds remaining and the score tied at 93, Boston inbounded the ball from the baseline underneath its own hoop. Crowder used screens from Isaiah Thomas and Tyler Zeller to free himself in the right corner, catching the inbounds pass from Marcus Smart and quickly launching a fadeaway jumper over two defenders from just inside the arc. The leaning shot swished through with 0.8 seconds remaining, sending the TD Garden crowd into an extended celebration.

Toronto was unable to score on its ensuing possession and Boston held on for the two-point win.

The victory locked Boston (39-42) into the East's No. 7 seed, setting up a first-round matchup against No. 2 Cleveland. The loss kept Toronto (48-33) in the East's No. 4 seed, setting up a potential first-round matchup against No. 5 Washington.

Crowder finished with nine points and four rebounds. Evan Turner and Avery Bradley led the Celtics with 14 points apiece.

Kyle Lowry and Lou Williams paced the Raptors with 16 points each. Jonas Valanciunas posted 10 points and eight rebounds.
