NBA's worldwide Fan Appreciation Day set for Thursday
The NBA will hold Fan Appreciation Day on Thursday as part of "a worldwide effort to thank our fans around the world via social media." The day will consist of 24 online chats with more than 20 current and former players.
The NBA's social media accounts will also offer fans free merchandise including signed jerseys and basketballs, as well as NBA League Pass playoff codes.

Additionally, the NBA plans to share individual player shoutout videos in-language, photo galleries and more through its social media platforms, which the league says collectively now have more than 811 million likes and followers.
