MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) Portland guard Arron Afflalo will miss his fifth straight game with a strained right shoulder, and the Trail Blazers also will be without center Chris Kaman on Wednesday night in Game 2 against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Coach Terry Stotts said Wednesday that Kaman twisted his left ankle in practice Tuesday when the Trail Blazers were going through some of the Grizzlies' plays. Kaman scored seven points and played 14 minutes in Portland's 100-86 loss to Memphis on Sunday night.

Stotts also says Afflalo is out again. Afflalo has tested his shoulder the past couple days. But the guard who averaged 10.6 points in 19 starts since the Trail Blazers traded for him in February will have to wait until the series returns to Portland for Game 3 on Saturday to try to play. Afflalo will have to be able to shoot 3s to get into the lineup.

''We're hopeful, obviously, that Aaron would be able to play, but he tested it and, and it's just not quite ready,'' Stotts said.

The Grizzlies are considerably healthier with coach Dave Joerger saying both Tony Allen (left hamstring) and point guard Mike Conley (sprained right foot) are playing.
