Portland Trail Blazers shooting guard Arron Afflalo says he will play in Game 3 of the team's first-round series against the Memphis Grizzlies, reports Mike Richman of The Oregonian.

Afflalo missed the first two games of the series in Memphis, both Portland losses, with a right shoulder strain. According to the tweets, Afflalo has no minutes restriction and says his shooting range will not be limited by his injured shoulder. The team officially listed him as probable for the contest

The Blazers acquired Afflalo at the trade deadline from the Denver Nuggets. After Wesley Matthews ruptured his Achilles and was lost for the season, Afflalo stepped into a starting role for Portland. He averaged 10.6 points in 25 games after joining the Blazers (19 starts). On the year, Afflalo averaged 13.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists.

"It's no time for trying to get to 100 percent," Afflalo told ESPN. "You just get out there and give it your best."

Injured Trail Blazers reserve center Chris Kaman did not practice Friday, but also said he planned to play in Saturday's game.

Game 3 between Portland and Memphis tips off at 10:30 ET Saturday on ESPN.
