Mark Cuban praises Rockets after calling them 'not a very good team'
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban congratulated the Houston Rockets and general manager Daryl Morey on Twitter after they beat the Los Angeles Clippers to advance to the Western Conference finals.
The Rockets beat the Mavericks in the first round of the playoffs in five games. The day before that series began, Grantland published an article in which Cuban criticized the Rockets, calling them "predictable" and "not a very good team."
"[The biggest difference is] practice time. There’s no more predictable team than the Rockets. You know exactly what they’re gonna do," Cuban said. "But James Harden is so good. That’s what analytics have begot. Right? Predictability. If you know what the percentages are, in the playoffs, you have time to counter them. Whether you’re good enough to do it is another question. Because they are very talented, and James Harden, I think, is the MVP. Because that’s not a very good team over there."

After Houston's win on Sunday, Cuban acknowledged he was wrong.
The Rockets fell behind 3–1 in their series against the Clippers but won the final three games and advanced. They will face the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference finals.
