Colorway: Veterans Day
Story: Embrace the poppy. That’s exactly what Adidas has done for its collection of Veterans Day colors for four on-court sneakers. As NBA players can honor Veterans Day—on Nov. 11—by wearing red, white, blue and camo, Adidas played up the red with a poppy flower print, a flower long tied to remembering those who have sacrificed for their country. The D Rose 6 features a gray poppy graphic print overlay with dark gray along the midsole. The D Lillard 1 puts the poppy in a blue upper with red accents. The Crazylight Boost 2015 comes with red and blue threads in the Primeknit woven upper and the mid and low offer some differing details. To finish off the collection, the Crazyquick 3 has a poppy print on the all-red upper.
