Lamar Odom could face felony drug charge in Nevada

Former NBA forward Lamar Odom may face a felony drug charge for unlawful possession of cocaine in connection with an incident a Nevada brothel last month.

Former NBA forward Lamar Odom may face a felony drug charge in connection with an incident a Nevada brothel last month.

According to the Associated Press, the district attorney for Nye County, Angela Bello, is considering charging Odom with unlawful possession of cocaine or being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Odom, 36, was found unconscious at the brothel on Oct. 13, reportedly after using cocaine and an herbal sexual enhancer. 

Odom reportedly suffered multiple strokes and is recovering in Southern California.

Odom played 14 seasons in the NBA and won back-to-back championships as a member of the Lakers in 2009 and 2010. He was the 2011 Sixth Man of the Year.
