Watch: LeBron James throws down windmill, raises roof at T-Wolves
It took nearly eight full minutes for LeBron James to get on the board Friday night in Minnesota, but The King scored his first points of the game in style. James tracked down a long rebound and went one-on-one with the rim, finishing high above the iron with a vicious windmill jam.
James celebrated the jam by raising the roof on his way back on defense. The gesture was basically an inverse of his famous “Shut it down” dance he debuted back in James’s Miami days. Cleveland took a 35–27 lead into the second quarter despite 12 points from Andrew Wiggins in the opening frame.

With Kyrie Irving and Karl-Anthony Towns suiting up alongside James and Wiggins, the matchup featured four former No. 1 overall picks for the first time since 2004, according to ESPN.
“I think if both sides are happy with what happened—we’re happy with having Kev and I know they’re happy with having Wiggins—so, that’s all that matters,” James told ESPN of the blockbuster trade which set up this marquee matchup.
James finished with a double double of 13 points and 12 rebounds while Andrew Wiggins scored a career-high 35 points for Minnesota. Cleveland won 125–99 for its sixth straight victory.
