Kevin Durant: Foul on Justin Anderson was unintentional

Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant admitted that the foul for which he was ejected in Game 4 against the Dallas Mavericks was a flagrant, but maintains that it was unintentional.
“I wasn't trying to hurt him,” Durant said via ESPN. "Plenty of plays this season where I blocked shots like that from behind. Just unfortunate I fouled him over the head. It was a flagrant, even though I wasn't trying to intentionally foul him. The refs had to make a decision and they made the right one. It was just bad timing. I wasn't trying to hurt him.
"What happened tonight was unfortunate. I didn't mean to flagrant foul Justin Anderson."
Durant committed the foul with under a minute left in the game while trying to block a shot from Anderson. Durant swiped for the ball, but instead hit the rookie in the face.

After reviewing the play, Durant was assessed a flagrant 2, meaning that he could be forced to miss game 5.
Durant apologized for the foul after the game, sending Anderson a text.
The Thunder won the game 119–108 to take a 3–1 advantage in the series.
