Clippers’ Chris Paul (hand) out indefinitely

Clippers guard Chris Paul will miss the remainder of the postseason with a fractured bone in his right hand, the Clippers announced on Tuesday.

Clippers guard Chris Paul will miss an indefinite amount of time with a fractured bone in his right hand, the Clippers announced on Tuesday.

Paul left Monday night’s Game 4 against the Trail Blazers after fracturing the third metacarpal bone in his right hand, and did not return. He left in the third quarter after scoring 16 points in 25 minutes.

Paul left the arena with his hand in a cast and his arm in a sling.

After the game coach Doc Rivers did not seem optimistic about his chances of returning in the playoffs.

“It doesn’t look good for him,” he said.

Los Angeles now heads back home, tied 2–2 with Portland in its opening-round playoff series. Blake Griffin will also miss will miss the remainder of the postseason after he tweaked his quad on Monday.
