2017 NBA draft grades: Pelicans trade up in second round for Frank Jackson

New Orleans Pelicans 2017 NBA draft picks, grades, analysis, recap.

The Pelicans made a huge splash in 2017 by trading for DeMarcus Cousins. With Cousins teaming up with the Pelicans' big man Anthony Davis in the frontcourt, New Orleans has a promising future, though the Pelicans weren't able to reach the playoffs.

The Pelicans drafted Oklahoma sharpshooter and 2016 Naismith Player of the Year, Buddy Hield, with the sixth overall pick last year, but quickly shipped him over to Sacramento in the Cousins deal. New Orleans aims to use this year's draft to surround their two superstar post men with a serviceable supporting cast.

Here's the full list of picks the Pelicans hold in the 2017 draft, which will be updated with each pick as it's made.
