Nets Announcer Had Perfect Call of Travis Scott’s Drink Getting Crushed By Loose Ball

A courtside drink spill by a celebrity during Wednesday night’s matchup between the Nets and Knicks produced a classic moment from broadcaster Ian Eagle.

An errant loose ball into the first row caused quite the mess when it bounced directly into the drink of rapper Travis Scott, who was sitting court-side at Barclays Center. The hit caused the drink to immediately explode, which created a mess that needed to be cleaned up. Of course, Eagle took the chance to narrate the moment, and delivered yet another hilarious call as he watched Scott’s drink take a tumble.

“Bang! Right there. Oh wow, that’s a geyser!” Eagle said. “I don’t know if I’ve seen celebrity spillage to that effect.”

The blow-up didn’t slow down Scott, who immediately picked up another can and cracked that one open to the amusement of Eagle.

“Oh, he’s just going to open up another can!” Eagle said. “When you’re Travis Scott, you just go on to the next can… The man just wanted to have a drink.”

Eagle has had plenty of great calls this year, including his ‘Blank Space’ reference for Travis Kelce’s score against the Dolphins. But this one was as funny as it gets, and fans loved it.
