76ers Add James Harden to Injury Report vs. Timberwolves

James Harden could miss Tuesday's game.

The Philadelphia 76ers could be without their star guard James Harden on Tuesday night when they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves.

According to the team’s injury report, Harden is dealing with left foot soreness. Therefore, he is questionable for the matchup on the road.

The Sixers are facing the second night of a back-to-back set of games on Tuesday. Before taking a trip to Minnesota, Philly faced the Indiana Pacers on the road on Monday night.

Harden entered the matchup without any limitations. He played for 39 minutes en route to a high-scoring victory. Although Harden had a quiet scoring night after his near-40-point performance over the weekend against the Milwaukee Bucks, the star guard nearly tied his career-high assist number with 20 assists in the 147-143 win over Indiana.

The star guard’s status on the injury report shouldn’t be too concerning. As Harden didn’t suffer any in-game setbacks against the Pacers, the team could just be keeping it cautious with the veteran by monitoring his foot after he suffered a tendon strain earlier in the year, which kept him off the court for a month.

Since returning from his setback, Harden has appeared in 39 of 41 games. He has yet to miss consecutive matchups since going down with a foot injury earlier in the season.

Over the last 39 games, Harden has averaged 22 points, 11 assists, and six rebounds while knocking down 41 percent of his threes on eight attempts per game.

The Sixers are set to return to the court for a 7:30 PM ET matchup on Tuesday. Harden will likely be a game-time decision.
