76ers vs. Pacers: Tobias Harris, PJ Tucker’s Playing Status

Will Tobias Harris and PJ Tucker face the Pacers on Monday?

When the Philadelphia 76ers take on the Indiana Pacers Monday night, they'll be without their starting forward, Tobias Harris, who was ruled out with calf soreness.

Harris’s injury concerns started a week ago when the Sixers were in the midst of a loss to the Miami Heat at home. In the closing minutes of the game, Harris was not seen on the floor. After the matchup, Sixers head coach Doc Rivers mentioned that Harris had suffered a calf-related setback.

The injury wasn’t anything significant since Harris avoided the injury report in Philadelphia’s following game against the Miami Heat on the road. And when the Sixers took on the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday, Harris appeared on the court for over 30 minutes for the second-straight game.

While Harris started in his third-straight game against the Milwaukee Bucks since dealing with his setback, he left the matchup early, getting ruled out after the first half. He was then placed on the injury report listed as questionable for Monday’s game.

Harris's setback doesn't seem significant, but he will miss his fifth game on Monday.

In addition to Harris, the Sixers approached Monday’s game in Indiana with PJ Tucker on the injury report. Tucker was questionable as well, as he dealt with back spasms. Lately, Tucker’s been healthy, but he left midway through Saturday’s game in Milwaukee.

Shortly after going to the locker room to get checked out, the Sixers ruled out Tucker for the night. With Doc Rivers’ not-so-promising update on the veteran after Saturday’s win, it seemed there was a chance Tucker could miss his third game of the year on Monday.

It turns out that will be the case. The Sixers will be down two starters on Monday night, as Tucker's ruled out for the night.
