76ers Injury Report: PJ Tucker, Jalen McDaniels Added vs. Pacers

In this story:
The Philadelphia 76ers could be short two key players on Saturday night when they take on the Indiana Pacers on the second night of a back-to-back set of games.
Jalen McDaniels, who’s been a frequent name on the Sixers’ injury report, remains in question ahead of Saturday’s game. After McDaniels suffered a hip contusion last Sunday night against the Washington Wizards, the veteran wing hasn’t been available since leaving in the second quarter.
McDaniels was questionable going into the Sixers’ last two games against the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Charlotte Hornets. Both times, he was ruled out.
On the morning of Friday’s game in Charlotte, McDaniels addressed his recent setback. While it doesn’t seem severe, there is a chance he could miss his third-straight game on Saturday.
In addition to McDaniels, the Sixers added PJ Tucker to the injury report. According to the team, Tucker is dealing with ankle soreness.
Therefore, Tucker is questionable for the matchup. On Friday night, Tucker appeared on the court for 22 minutes. Although he didn’t score at all after releasing just one shot, Tucker collected five rebounds and two steals on the defensive end.
This year, Tucker’s only missed three games on scattered occasions. The good news is the veteran forward had a light workload on Friday as he got the entire fourth quarter off. However, his playing status in Indiana remains unclear.
The Sixers and the Pacers are set to tip off at 7:00 PM.
