This past offseason, the Philadelphia 76ers found themselves in the middle of the NBA's biggest scandal. Along with requesting a trade, James Harden took multiple shots at Daryl Morey publicly.

During the first week of the regular season, the Sixers and Clippers agreed on a deal centered around Harden. LA acquired the All-Star point guard, while Philly landed a package of draft picks and veterans.

On Thursday night, the NBA conducted the semifinals of the in-season tournament. Behind an incredible showing from Tyrese Haliburton, the Indiana Pacers were able to take down the Milwaukee Bucks to advance to the finals.

While on Inside the NBA, Sixers legend Charles Barkley decided to take a jab at Harden. He said the Pacers were playing so well that Harden is going to request a trade there next.

"I was talking to Woj. Woj said Haliburton is playing so good James Harden wanted to be traded to Indiana," Barkley said.

Since the early season trade, Harden has appeared in 15 games for the Clippers. In that span, he is averaging 16.0 PPG, 4.2 RPG, and 6.7 APG. Despite some early struggles, LA has managed to claw their way back to .500 on the year. They are currently in ninth place in the Western Conference with a record of 10-10.

Former Sixers Forward Struggles With New Team

Barkley is one of the many Hall of Famers to suit up for the Sixers in the franchise's history. He was drafted by the organization in 1984 with the fifth overall pick. Barkley spent eight years with the franchise before moving on to the Phoenix Suns. During his Sixers' tenure, he averaged 23.3 PPG, 11.6 RPG, and 3.7 APG along with being a six-time All-Star. Barkley is still the franchise leader in offensive (2,688) and defensive (4,391) rebounds.
