On Monday night, the Western Conference wrapped up its Finals series as the Denver Nuggets completed a sweep over LeBron James and the Lakers. On Tuesday night, the Miami Heat are looking to do the same thing in their series against the Boston Celtics.

It seems the Celtics’ hot streak in the playoffs has officially cooled down. Although they were nearly out in the second round as the Philadelphia 76ers went up 3-2 during the Eastern Conference Semifinals, the Celtics put together back-to-back impressive performances to avoid elimination.

After winning big in Game 7 against the Sixers to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals, the Celtics ran into a tough battle against the eighth-seeded Miami Heat.

When the Heat paid the Celtics a visit for Games 1 and 2 at TD Garden, the Heat put together two impressive upset victories. Late last week, the Celtics hit the road for the first time during the series and took on the Heat down in South Beach.

Once again, Miami found success and continued their winning ways by going up 3-0 in the series. The Celtics have another chance to keep the series alive on the road on Tuesday night. A win for the Cs could take the series back to Boston for a Game 5.

But if Jimmy Butler and the Heat can win one more on Tuesday, they’ll become the second team to sweep in the Conference Finals and will book a ticket to the NBA Finals, where they will meet with Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets.
