On Monday night, the Philadelphia 76ers hosted Game 2 of their first-round series against the Brooklyn Nets, looking to build on their win from Saturday afternoon before the series goes to Brooklyn.

While the Sixers heavily relied on Joel Embiid and James Harden in Game 1, with the partnership combining for 47 points, the same couldn't be said for the second game.

The Nets continued their double teaming of Embiid, which limited him to only getting off four shots in the opening half, while Harden struggled on the offensive end, finishing the first half with 14 percent accuracy from the field.

This would stay the case for both players throughout the second half, with Embiid starting to find his stride in the third quarter. While Harden ended the night with eight points on 23 percent shooting.

With the Sixers' two top scorers finding limited success, they turned to Tyrese Maxey, who more than answered the call, dropping a game-high 33 points against Brooklyn.

While a good amount of Maxey's baskets were the rim-running layups that he has become known for, a considerable amount came from beyond the arc, as the 22-year-old drained a playoff-career-high six triples.

The third-year-guard was a monumental part of Philadelphia's comeback, draining threes in the second quarter to carve into the Nets' lead to shooting a commendable 50 percent in the fourth quarter, which would help him even nail a corner shot to help seal the door shut on Game 2.
