76ers' Veteran Keeps Viral Routine Rolling After Win vs. Pistons

In this story:
Following a dominant victory over the Washington Wizards on Monday night, Philadelphia 76ers veteran guard Patrick Beverley went viral after his postgame press conference took place.
Before fielding questions in front of a room full of reporters, Beverley had to set the mood right for himself by cracking open a beer, celebrating his team’s success.
“Always after a win,” Beverley stated as he prepared for his first question.
Now that Beverley’s postgame tradition has been introduced to Sixers fans, the team, and the city is embracing it. Beverley followed up with another cold one after the team’s blowout win over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night.

This time around, the Sixers were on the road in Detroit. Beverley, sitting in front of his locker, cracked open a bottle as his teammate Mo Bamba captured the action for his Instagram account.
Wednesday’s game wasn’t a long night in the office for Beverley. Considering the circumstances, Beverley didn’t have to check in for his usual 18 minutes per game.
Instead, the veteran guard collected a 12-minute shift off the bench. During that time, Beverley knocked down one shot from beyond the arc and missed his only two other attempts. He also went scoreless from his lone visit to the charity stripe.
Despite scoring just three points and dishing out one assist, Beverley was still a plus-17 in Wednesday’s win. As a unit, the 76ers dominated the Pistons to collect their 16th win of the year.
With a 129-111 victory, the 76ers issued Detroit its 22nd loss of the year, which marked their 21st straight loss. They’ll re-visit the Eastern Conference matchup for a third time on Friday as the Pistons make their way to South Philly for the first time this season.
Perhaps Beverley can keep the brew flowing with a fifth-straight win.
