76ers vs. Celtics: Game 5 Odds & Prediction

In this story:
Tuesday night marks the fifth matchup between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Boston Celtics this postseason. When the Eastern Conference Semifinals series started up last Monday, the undermanned Sixers marched into TD Garden and took care of business.
Without Joel Embiid, Sixers guard James Harden put together a masterful performance as he produced 45 points in an upset win to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
Despite the Sixers picking up steam and gaining momentum with Joel Embiid back in the mix by Game 2, the Celtics weren’t fazed by his return. Boston found success to tie up the series 1-1 before hitting the road to Philadelphia for the first time in the series.
The Sixers couldn’t follow up Joel Embiid’s pregame MVP ceremony in Game 3 as they took on a loss. For the first time during the 2023 NBA Playoffs, the Sixers trailed in a series.
Sunday’s game served as a do-or-die matchup for Philadelphia. Although it took four quarters and an overtime period to find a winner, the Sixers came out on top as James Harden once again dominated in the scoring department with over 40 points, which helped the Sixers snag a one-point win.
With the series tied at 2-2, the Sixers and the Celtics will battle it out in Boston once again on Tuesday night. Can the Celtics send the series back to Philly with a lead? Or will the Sixers get themselves one step closer to going beyond the second round for the first time since 2001?
