76ers: Will Jalen McDaniels, Danuel House Face Nuggets?

In this story:
After getting Sunday off, the Philadelphia 76ers are set to return to the court on Monday night to face the Denver Nuggets for the second and final time this season.
Once again, the Sixers have a few names on the injury report, which could shake up the matchup.
Among the starters listed are Joel Embiid and James Harden. Lately, the two stars have frequently been popping up on the report as they remain bothered by different setbacks.
Embiid started dealing with calf tightness last Wednesday. Although he was questionable for Philadelphia’s matchups on Friday and Saturday night, the big man played in both games. On Monday, he'll finally get a night off.
As for Harden, he’s been dealing with calf tightness, which started last Monday. Unlike Embiid, Harden’s questionable status has mostly led to getting downgraded as inactive, as he’s missed the previous three games for the Sixers.
Beyond the starting five, the Sixers have had two reserves battling with injuries. The most notable has been Jalen McDaniels, who suffered a hip contusion a few weeks ago in a matchup against the Washington Wizards.
After the injury initially happened, McDaniels missed two-straight games. While he returned for two matchups, McDaniels proceeded to take two more games off last week.
McDaniels returned to the court for Saturday’s game against the Phoenix Suns. He appeared on the court for 14 minutes. During that time, McDaniels went 0-3 from the field, coming down with one rebound and grabbing one steal and one block.
Although McDaniels is still working his way back to being one hundred percent, the veteran wing is currently not listed on the injury report for Monday’s game. Barring any unexpected setbacks, McDaniels should be good to go against the Nuggets.
As for Danuel House Jr., his status is unclear at the moment. As the Sixers prepared for their Friday night matchup against the Golden State Warriors, House started dealing with shoulder soreness after the team’s morning shootaround session.
House went from getting downgraded to questionable to missing Friday’s game. Although Doc Rivers admitted that he believed a questionable House would play on Saturday against the Phoenix Suns, the reserve wing was not cleared for action.
Approaching Monday’s game, House is once again questionable to play. Based on how he feels following Monday’s shootaround, House could make his return to the court to face the Nuggets.
According to Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer, House intends to play on Monday night. For now, the Sixers still have him listed as questionable.
With a 9:30 PM tip-off in store, the Sixers have two players on the verge of possibly sitting out. Meanwhile, McDaniels is set to suit up for the second game in a row, while Embiid will miss the matchup.
