Similar to the Philadelphia 76ers, the Brooklyn Nets could be without a handful of key players for Sunday afternoon’s season finale.

On Friday night, the Nets clinched their spot in the 2023 NBA Playoffs. After getting the sixth seed, the Nets became the Sixers’ first-round opponent.

Since neither team has anything to play for on Sunday, it could be a battle of reserves.

For the Sixers, that’s guaranteed to be the case. Joel Embiid, James Harden, Tobias Harris, Tyrese Maxey, and PJ Tucker are all out for Sunday’s game. Along with the starting five, the sixth-man De’Anthony Melton will take the day off as well.

While Georges Niang is questionable to play, the Sixers might play it safe with their reserve sharpshooter and give him the night off, as knee soreness could be bothering him.

As for the Nets, a few of their key players are already listed as out. Meanwhile, a handful of them are questionable for the matchup.

Seth Curry, Dorian Finney-Smith, Cameron Johnson, Royce O’Neal, and Ben Simmons are all listed as out already. Spencer Dinwiddie, Joe Harris, and Edmond Sumner are among those who are listed as questionable for the matchup.

The Sixers and the Nets are set to begin their final matchup at 1 PM ET.
