After seeing some of their young talents strut their wares in the Summer League, the Milwaukee Bucks will take their preparation for the upcoming NBA season a notch higher by playing five preseason games.

The Bucks will start their preseason campaign with a home game against the Chicago Bulls on October 8th at the Fiserv Forum.

Milwaukee will then embark on three road games to face the Memphis Grizzlies on October 10th, the Los Angeles Lakers on October 15th, and the Oklahoma City Thunder on October 17th.

The Bucks will cap their preseason schedule with a home game against the Grizzlies on October 20th.

Road to redemption

Milwaukee is seeking some sort of redemption in the NBA 2023-24 season, which will fire off on October 24th. The Bucks will be coming off a disastrous campaign after they ended last season with a first-round exit against the Miami Heat.

The upcoming season will feature a Bucks team with a new-look coaching staff led by former Toronto Raptors assistant coach Adrian Griffin. Griffin replaced Mike Budenholzer, who was dismissed shortly after the Bucks’ shocking first-round exit.

Old guns are back

Milwaukee was able to retain its key pieces as two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo will still have reliable running partners in Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, Bobby Portis Jr., and Brook Lopez.

While keeping their core intact, the Bucks were also able to inject some youth into its aging roster by bringing in promising talents, such as Chris Livingston and Andre Jackson Jr., via the NBA Draft. Milwaukee’s key free-agent acquisitions are Malik Beasley and Robin Lopez.
