Khris Middleton and Grayson Allen won't play in Tuesday's game vs. the Washington Wizards

In this story:
The Milwaukee Bucks head to the Capitol One Arena in Washington, DC, to battle the Washington Wizards and inch closer to locking down the top seed in the Eastern Conference and gaining homecourt advantage throughout the NBA Playoffs.

Meyers Leonard (sore calf)- Probable
Khris Middleton (knee management)- Out
Grayson Allen (sprained ankle)- Out
Still managing Middleton’s knee
With the playoffs looming on the horizon, the Bucks’ health will be imperative to their success. To that end, Milwaukee is being cautious with Middleton’s workload. After posting a solid 19 points and nine assists in a 117-104 win on Sunday, Middleton will miss the game against the Wizards to tend to his right knee and make sure he’s in optimal health come playoff time.

After missing a bunch of games to start the season, Middleton is slowly rounding into form. Over the last 10 games, the veteran wingman is averaging 19.1 points on 47% shooting from the field, 5.1 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game.
Meanwhile, Allen will be missing the game against Washington due to a sprained ankle.
Magic number
With a 56-22 record, the Bucks are two games in front of their closest pursuer, the Boston Celtics. With just four more games remaining in the regular season, the Bucks must finish with one more win over Boston to clinch the top seed in the Eastern Conference.
The Bucks have a 2-1 advantage over the Wizards in their season series. Their last meeting was on March 6th, with the Bucks winning 117-111. Giannis Antetokounmpo nearly had a triple-double and one eyebrow-raising play late in the game as he intentionally missed a shot to try and grab a rebound that would have given him a triple-double.
However, the NBA rescinded the rebound, and the Greek Freak finished with 23 points, 13 assists, and nine boards.
