"It's been everything I imagine or more" - Coach Adrian Griffin assures he and Damian Lillard have a great relationship

In this story:
The point guard is often considered to be the extension of the coach on the floor. That's why it's essential that a coach and his floor general have a good relationship.
As far as Adrian Griffin is concerned, he has no problem at all when it comes to having a good relationship with the Milwaukee Bucks' superstar guard, Damian Lillard.
"It's a great, great relationship. Dame is extremely coachable. He's more vocal than you might imagine," Griffin said.
Great bond
The first-year Milwaukee coach was responding to a question by a reporter who asked him to talk about his relationship with Dame.
The topic may have stemmed from Giannis Antetokounmpo's gripes that the Bucks looked disorganized in the crucial stretches of their In-Season Tournament semifinal loss to the Indiana Pacers on Thursday night.
"We've had some really good talk, some really good dialogue; I mean, he's…the way he sees the game, a super intelligent player, has a lot of pride, how he approaches the game and how he sees the game. So I definitely listen to him," said Griffin.
Giannis had lamented it seemed that the Bucks didn't know what to do late in the game.
No beef between Dame and Griff
Griffin quickly shot down any notion that the Bucks seemed disorganized because of a dysfunctional point guard-coach relationship.
"It's been great, it's been everything I imagine or more, just being able to coach him, but again, it's a work in progress, and just continue to find ways to put him in the best position to be successful on the court," Griffin said.
Griffin said he and Dame go along easily and are open to exchanging ideas.
"We're like twins. We have unspoken language. We have a very good relationship. Dame is very receptive, and maybe more than people may notice. He seems more reserved on the surface, but we have very good talks all the time," Griffin said.
