The Milwaukee Bucks took the first quarter by storm when they defeated the Chicago Bulls, 119-108, on Monday night at the Fiserv Forum. Milwaukee’s fast start was capped by an incredible shot by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who sank a fall-away three-pointer just before the buzzer sounded.
The three-pointer made Giannis as only the seventh Milwaukee player to make 500 three-pointers. The two-time MVP now ranks seventh in the Bucks' all-time three-pointers made leaders.

Khris Middleton leads the list with 1,263, followed by Ray Allen, who has 1,051. Michael Redd is at third with 1,003, while Brook Lopez and Brandon Jennings are at fourth and fifth with 557 and 554, respectively.
The three-pointer to end the first quarter was one of the highlights of Giannis’ stellar performance that saw him finish with 35 points and 11 rebounds. It was the fifth time this season that Antetokounmpo scored more than 30 points.

Game-long brilliance
Giannis’ lone three-pointer in the game was part of a 13-point first-quarter performance that helped the Bucks end the period with a 35-18 lead.
Milwaukee lost the 17-point lead but did just enough to salvage the win. Giannis was also responsible for the Bucks’ strong finishing kick after he scored 11 points in the final quarter.
“He was phenomenal the whole game. We needed him down the stretch, and he kind of took things in his own hands,” Bucks coach Adrian Griffin said of Antetokounmpo.
The victory was a much-needed one as the Bucks halted a two-game slide to improve to 4-0 at home and 6-4 in the season.
