The Milwaukee Bucks have already secured a playoff spot, and yet, their top gun Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to perform at a high level.

Keep it going until the end

Antetokounmpo disclosed he is someone who doesn't pay attention so much to their ranking, but being the number one team right now is a welcome development.

"I've never in my career believed in seeding, but we're No. 1 right now, we should just take it," Antetokounmpo said.

Giannis talked about Milwaukee's current position after their 130-94 blowout win over the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night.

The Bucks posted their most lopsided victory of the season despite the Greek Freak playing for just 24 minutes. Antetokounmpo was extra efficient in the match that saw him tally 31 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, and a block.

Not letting up

It was March 13th when the Bucks officially clinched a playoff berth after they defeated the Sacramento Kings 133-124. In that playoff-clinching win, Antetokounmpo finished with 46 points and 12 rebounds.

Although a playoff seat was already in the bag for the Bucks, Antetokounmpo was still all-business the next day when he piled up 36 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists to power Milwaukee to a 116-104 win over the Phoenix Suns.

After those two straight wins, the Bucks faltered against the Indiana Pacers, 139-123, in which Giannis wound up with 25 points and nine rebounds.

Behind Giannis, Milwaukee quickly bounced back from that loss by beating Toronto, 118-111. The two-time MVP completed his 33rd career triple-double in that win by finishing with 22 points, 12 rebounds, and ten assists.

Stretching their NBA-best record to 52-20 after their win over the Spurs, Giannis said it is essential for the Bucks to stay focused. Having the right mindset will serve the Bucks well come playoffs, Giannis stated.

"We should just keep on building good habits, take it, and maybe it helps us in a playoff run,"
