In this story:

The Milwaukee Bucks had an amazing run in the month of February that saw them going undefeated in 10 games. They are also off to a hot start this month, winning six of their first nine games.

The scintillating run in February and the strong start in March have allowed the Milwaukee Bucks to become not just the first team to reach 50 wins but also the first to clinch a playoff berth this season.

While it has been a collective effort in what appears to be another great month for Milwaukee, three players have actually stood out that enabled the Bucks to pick up from where they left off in February.

The Bulldog

Jevon Carter is one of the Bucks who has been putting up huge numbers.

In Milwaukee’s first six games this March, Carter was good for 12.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists. Carter has become a reliable defender and can steadily knock down open shots too.

Last March 5th against the Washington Wizards, Carter tallied 20 points and two rebounds. He shot 6-of-10 from the three-point area in just 22 minutes of play.

He was even more impressive in Milwaukee’s next outing, stepping up big in the absence of Jrue Holiday with 24 points, two rebounds, and five assists to lift the Bucks to a 132-123 win over the Orlando Magic.

The DPOY

Another Buck who is on a tear is Brook Lopez, who is good for 21.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks through the team’s first six games this month.

Lopez has been consistent in the six-game stretch after scoring over 20 points in the games against the Philadelphia Sixers, Orlando, and the Brooklyn Nets.

Lopez was superb in the team’s 118-113 win over Brooklyn, where he recorded a career-high nine blocks. The sweet-shooting center has been anchoring Milwaukee’s defense, putting himself in contention for the Defensive Player of the Year accolade.

The most underrated player in the NBA

Holiday is also off to a strong start this month, as he was good for 19.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 8.8 assists from March 1st till 11th.

Holiday’s 23-point performance powered the Bucks to a 139-117 win over Orlando Magic on March 1st. He fired 26 points in Milwaukee’s 133-130 loss to Philadelphia on March 4th.

Lopez may be the Bucks’ defensive ace, but Holiday can be counted on also in containing the opposing teams’ wingmen.

Jrue can also explode offensively on any given night, providing the Bucks additional spark aside from Giannis Antetokounmpo and the fit-again Khris Middleton.

The Bucks are the best team in the league right now and certainly can do more, especially if Carter, Holiday, and Lopez can sustain their fine performances.
