The Milwaukee Bucks are a team loaded with veteran players who have gone through the gauntlet. From two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo to fellow All-Stars Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, and Brook Lopez, the Bucks boast a strong core of experienced veterans. Yet beneath the stars is an intriguing group of youngsters who are ready to contribute now and in the future. This group includes rookies Chris Livingston, Andre Jackson, and incoming sophomore A.J. Green, who are all invested in the team's success and looking to make an impact.

That said, here are five stories involving the Bucks from last week that you may have missed:

1) Milwaukee Bucks rookies looking forward to doing more work as the season nears

After getting a taste of what the NBA life is like, in the NBA Summer League, the team’s rookies want more. Chris Livingston and Andre Jackson are looking forward to building their skills with the help of new head coach Adrian Griffin and his staff.

2) A.J. Green's drive to get better doesn't stop with a new contract

Green’s remarkable accuracy from beyond the arc (41.9%) helped land him a new three-year deal with the Bucks this offseason. However, he’s not content. Green is looking to build on what he's already done and become an even more valuable player for the team.

3) "I think it's important for us to invest in development," - Milwaukee Bucks GM on bringing young players into the fold

As crucial as it is to have a team that knows what’s it like to win, both in the regular season and the postseason, it’s equally important for any franchise to invest in developing young talent. That’s why the Bucks have added a number of talented rookies to their roster this off-season. GM Jon Horst believes that acquiring young players is essential for the team’s growth in both the short and longer term.

4) Milwaukee Bucks sign point guard Jazian Gortman

The Milwaukee Bucks have recently welcomed a promising young addition, Jazian Gortman, to their training camp roster. Gortman, who was signed to an Exhibit 10 deal, had the opportunity to join the Bucks' Summer League squad in Las Vegas, collaborating with young players such as Chris Livingston and Andre Jackson Jr. Despite not putting up remarkable numbers in his five games (averaging 4.8 points, 1 assist, and 0.8 rebounds), the Bucks' decision-makers recognized Gortman's potential and decided to give the 20-year-old an opportunity to prove himself in the upcoming training camp.

5) Can the Milwaukee Bucks land Harry Giles?

Former first-round pick Harry Giles is trying to make an NBA comeback, and the Bucks had a front-row seat to the big man’s workout in Las Vegas. Giles had a tough road to the league due to his injury history but is now trying to make a comeback and could be a possible addition for Milwaukee, who are looking to add size and experience at power forward.
