The Chicago Bulls (32-35) will try to get back on the winning track on Friday at the United Center when they face the lowly Washington Wizards (11-55). The Bulls are coming off a 126-111 loss at the hands of the Los Angeles Clippers in a game they played without rising star Coby White, who missed his first game of the season because of a hip strain.

Bulls still missing that consistency

Before the game versus the Clippers, the Bulls were coming off a 132-129 overtime win over the Indiana Pacers. However, Chicago failed to keep that momentum going against a Clippers squad that had Paul George and Kawhi Leonard.

“Without Coby, Patrick, and Zach, the other guys have had to step it up, so at times, we are fighting for consistency. We’ve got to find that consistency,” Bulls coach Billy Donovan said.

On the surface, the Wizards may seem like easy prey, considering they’ve only won 11 games this season. However, the Bulls need not look too far for an example of what can happen when they underestimate their opponent. Back on February 28, the Bulls lost to one of the worst teams in the league, the Detroit Pistons, 105-95.

Coby White is doubtful to play

The Bulls were fortunate to learn that White suffered only a mild hip strain despite the hard fall he took late in the game against the Pacers. However, the team has still listed White as doubtful to play.

However, Chicago received some bad news on Friday. The team announced that Phillips has suffered a right foot sprain and will be out indefinitely.
