Zach LaVine looks to build on his breakout performance against the Toronto Raptors

It was only a matter of time before Zach LaVine found his groove.
The team's second-leading scorer has been off to a slow start to the season, but he finally looked like himself in Monday night's game against the Toronto Raptors. LaVine scored 30 points, grabbed three rebounds, and dished out five assists in the victory, proving that he is finally feeling like his old self again.
Tough start for LaVine
The schedule for LaVine and the Bulls early in the season has not been kind. They started the season with numerous back-to-backs, and LaVine has had to miss several games as he and the team's medical staff manage his knee, which he had surgery on in the offseason. However, Monday night was a breakout performance that should give Bulls fans hope for the rest of the year.
LaVine looked spry as he started the game with a dunk and a layup before scoring on several jumpers. He was aggressive on both ends of the floor, and it was clear that he was feeling good out there. The 27-year-old has been slowly working his way back to form, and this performance was a great sign for him and the team moving forward.
Zach showed off the full repertoire tonight.

"They want me to catch-and-shoot everything right now. I still gotta be me. I'm still catching my rhythm. But I'm starting to feel good," LaVine said. The two-time All-Star was on point from beyond the arc (4/8), bumping his three-point percentage this season to 43.3%.
More playing time in the future
With the schedule lightening up for the Chicago Bulls, LaVine should see more action on the court. He has been held out numerous times to keep him fresh, but with the team not having a back-to-back until next month, LaVine will have a chance to play more and finally get into a playing rhythm.
"We've had a tough schedule to start off. Now we have a day or two off between every game. I'm happy with that because you'll see me in the lineup," LaVine said.
