Donovan Mitchell isn't shying away from recent reports that indicate he isn't happy with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Cleveland.com's Chris Fedor reported Thursday that Mitchell "grew frustrated with some teammates' lack of maturity, focus, playoff-level readiness and a willingness to listen" throughout the 2023-24 season. The Cavaliers were eliminated Wednesday night after losing in five games to the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Mitchell, however, disagrees with that report and voiced his opinion on social media.

Mitchell just wrapped up his second year with the Cavaliers since arriving via a blockbuster trade in September 2022. In 55 games this season, Mitchell averaged 26.6 points, 6.1 assists and 5.1 rebounds per contest while shooting 36.8% from three-point range.

Mitchell is set to be paid $35.4 million next year and has a $37 million player option for the 2025-26 campaign, but he could opt out and become an unrestricted free agent next summer.

His future with the franchise could be in question sooner than later, however. There likely will be plenty of trade rumors swarming around Mitchell and the Cavaliers this offseason.

But for now, Cavaliers fans will have to take his word that he isn't concerned about his teammates' maturity in the locker room.
