Kings ink guard Demps to 10-day contract

The Sacramento Kings signed guard Cody Demps to a 10-day contract Friday, according to Sacramento general manager Vlade Divac.

A product of Sacramento State, the 6-foot-4, 185-pound Demps played in 49 games (41 starts) for the Stockton Kings, the NBA Kings' G-League affiliate, averaging 11.8 points, 4.8 boards, 3.2 assists and 1.1 steals in 30.6 minutes.

Demps, 25, is shooting 44.9 percent from the field, 31.3 percent from beyond the 3-point line and 80.2 percent from the free-throw line.
