Cavs Look To Keep Streak Going Against The Celtics

The Cleveland Cavaliers will look to win their third straight against the Boston Celtics.

Who's ready for the rematch of the year?

The Boston Celtics are looking to get a win over the only team they've struggled against this season while the Cleveland Cavaliers want to prove they're legit Eastern Conference contenders. The Cavs and Celtics will meet up on Wednesday evening to see who comes out on top.

The Cavs currently own a 2-0 record against Boston this season.

The Celtics hold the second seed in the Eastern Conference and are arguably one of the best teams in the entire NBA. That makes Cleveland's record against them an impressive one. However, it's been a while since these two teams last saw each other and a lot has changed.

The last time Cleveland and Boston met up was back on November 2 when the Cavs nearly escaped with a one-point victory.

Only a few days before Cleveland defeated the Celtics when Caris LeVert exploded for a career-high 41 points and Donovan Mitchell added 41 points of his own.

Yes, the Cavs have had the Celtics' number so far this season, but they can't take that for granted. Unforntuly, we've seen what happens when Cleveland overlooks their opponent.

Boston is coming into this game as winning three of their last five. The Cavs on the other hand are searching for some consistently after starting their first three games out of the All-Star break 1-and-2.

If Cleveland does want to secure the win then they'll have to find some way to contain MVP contender Jayson Tatum. He's averaging 30.1 points per game and much of their success relies on him.

However, they can't put all of their focus on Tatum because Jaylen Brown is just as important, especially with his elite defense.

Getting a win against the Celtics won't be easy, but the Cavs have what it takes to come out on top.
