Ricky Rubio's Injury Status Against Denver Nuggets
The Cleveland Cavaliers will welcome the Denver Nuggets to town on Thursday night with it being both teams' first game post-All-Star break. However, the Cavs already know that they'll be missing a key piece in the game.
Cleveland's backup point guard Ricky Rubio has already been ruled OUT for Thursday.
Thankfully, this isn't a new injury or rising concern that is keeping him on the sidelines. Rubio still isn't ready to play back-to-backs since returning from his ACL rehab which kept him out the first half of the season.

After the Cavs pay the Nuggets, they will immediately travel to Atlanta for a matchup against the Hawks on Friday night. A home than away back-to-back directly after the All-Star break is quite the way to get back into the swing of things.
Not having Rubio on the floor will put the Cavs at a disadvantage. The 12-year veteran has become a valuable piece to the bench through his leadership and savviness. Ricky is also averaging 5.7 points and 3.8 assists this season.
One player that is likely to see increased playing time against the Nuggets in Rubio's absence is Raul Neto. Neto hasn't had a consistent role with the Cavs this season but has always been reliable when asked to step up.
