Cavaliers Reveal Fan Giveaway For Game 1 Of NBA Playoffs

Cleveland Cavaliers to give away rally towels and long-sleeve t-shirts for Game 1 of the 2024 NBA Playoffs against the Orlando Magic.

The backdrop of the NBA Playoffs is one of the best scenes in sports. The uniform t-shirts and the waving rally towels make the postseason viewing experience what it is. That’ll be the same for this year’s Playoffs as the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Orlando Magic in the first round at Rocket Mortage FieldHouse.

The Cavaliers organization released what they’ll be giving away to fans when Cleveland takes on Orlando in game one on Saturday. (Tip-off for game one is yet to be determined.)

Here’s a sneak peek at the giveaway:

The planned whiteout will be a nice touch, there’s just something about the crowd all wearing one color that screams "postseason." However, outside of the “Basketabll V” logo on the right and the “Let Em Know” phrase on the bottom, it’s hard to tell that it’s a Cavs shirt.

Last year’s shirt had the big “C” in the middle with “Cleveland Cavaliers” as the main focus. Adding an extra Cavalier logo somewhere on this year’s design would’ve gone a long way.

Whether the Cavs were giving out rally towels, t-shirts, or anything else, one thing remains. That’s the fact that the crowd needs to be loud on Saturday. The Magic are a relatively young team with little playoff experience which is the same position the Cavs found themselves in last year.

The Cavaliers learned what playing in a hostile environment can do to a team’s rhythm and, with the fans' help, can return the factor to the Magic.
