Early Injury Status For Jarrett Allen As Cavs Prepare To Take On Nets

Jarrett Allen is QUESTIONABLE to play for the Cleveland Cavaliers as they take on the Brooklyn Nets.

Jarrett Allen has now missed the last four games for the Cleveland Cavaliers as he still nurses an eye injury he suffered at the beginning of the month against the Miami Heat.

The Cavs have been able to tread water while Allen's been out, but they're still looking forward to getting their man in the middle back. Evan Mobley has stepped up and performed at a high level while being the full-time center in Allen's absence.

There is hope on the horizon as the Cavs get ready for back-to-back games against the Brooklyn Nets. The two teams will face off for the first time on Tuesday night and then again on Thursday.

Allen is currently listed as QUESTIONABLE for Tuesday night's game.

JA went through a full practice on Monday without any limitations. The hope is that when Allen is ready to play, he won't need to wear any goggles or face protectors to accommodate the injury.

Cleveland will be looking forward to getting their starting center back in the lineup, especially as we're in the final stretch of the season. Allen is currently averaging 14.4 points and 9.8 rebounds per game. He's also one of the best defenders the Cavs have, and this is what the team prides itself on.

Fingers crossed JA makes an appearance on Tuesday night.
