Bronny James, son of future Hall Of Famer and Cleveland legend LeBron James, just committed to play NCAA basketball at USC. So, I guess it's only right we start talking about where he will play in the NBA.

It's still a few years off, but fans and media personalities love to speculate and imagine what different NBA rosters will look like.

Fox Sports' Nick Wright already has an interesting theory as to how the Cleveland Cavaliers will end up with both LeBron and Bronny James in just a few years. It all starts with a player the Cavs already have on the roster.

The Cavaliers drafted Evan Mobley third over in the 2021 NBA Draft. Most notably, they drafted him out of USC. The same university that Bronny is preparing to attend.

See where this is going?

Wright's hypothesis goes like this,

"Evan Mobley plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Evan Mobley's father, Eric, is an assistant coach at USC. The Cavs traded away all of their future first-round picks, except for their 24 first-round pick, which would be the year that Bronny could come out of school if he was a one-and-done."

The Fox Sports anchor went on to say that the Cavs are in need of a small forward and that LeBron would be a perfect fit.

Sure, it's a fun idea. However, the logistics of it go well beyond more than just a simple connection at a college.

Will Bronny be available for the Cavs when the draft comes around? Will Cleveland still have that pick? What would the salary cap look like with Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen, and LeBron James all on it?

I guess anything is possible, I never thought LeBron would come back when he left for Miami. But this one seems to be more wishful thinking than an actual possibility.
