Cavs lose Thompson for 2-4 weeks with ankle sprain

And the hurts just keep on comin' for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The latest pain in their roster comes in the form of center Tristan Thompson, who will miss two-to-four weeks with a sprained foot, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
UPDATE: The team has made this official in a news release.
Now, the Cavs are without all five starters from last season, and even some of their replacements. That's how badly the injury bug has bitten.
Thompson, 27, suffered the injury during Monday's loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. It could be argued that he has been the Cavs' best player in an otherwise lost season, a positive force both in the locker room and on the floor.
“I just fell forward on it, it’ll be all right,” he told reporters after the game. “It happens when you’re rebounding and the little guys are down there. It’s part of the game. I’m just glad I was able to walk off on my own two feet.”
Thompson is providing 12.0 points, 11.6 rebounds and tons of hustle for the 6-21. There is a chance that Thompson and power forward Kevin Love (toe) return at around the same time. Love said he is hopeful of returning in January.
