LeBron: 'A lot of people didn't want to come to Cleveland'

LeBron James is from Northeast Ohio. Akron, to be exact, as he almost always is very, very quick to point out.
Even though he spent 11 seasons playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers, he said he could not persuade others to join him in Cleveland.
That's a problem he said he did not have during his four seasons spent in Miami with the Heat nor will have now that he is in Los Angeles with the Lakers.
LeBron "I've always recruited players, I've been getting guys to play with me since like 2007, I've gotten rejected a lot, a lot of guys didn't want to come to Cleveland, but it wasn't hard to get guys in Miami. so now being in L.A I don't think it''ll be hard to get guys here " pic.twitter.com/eJHC3kod7q

"A lot of people didn't want to come to Cleveland, let me just throw that out there," James told Rachel Nichols of ESPN. "I tried to recruit so many guys to come to Cleveland, and we actually had -- I had -- a couple guys and it just didn't work out.
"A lot of guys didn't want to come to Cleveland."
James said he's been recruiting players to join him his entire career, now in its 16th season.
"I've always recruited," James said. "I've been trying to get guys to come play with me since, like, 2007. I've got rejected a lot. But I've also have not got rejected a lot."
He again referenced his non-Cleveland years.
"It wasn't hard getting guys in Miami, I'll tell you that," James said. "So now that I think being in LA., I don't think it would be that hard to get guys here.
"But we got to win, and at the end of the day, it's all about winning. You know, and that's what I'm trying to do right now, is to show prospects and free agents -- and at the same time, show these guys that I got right now -- that we can win now, and let's not worry about the future."
