Raptors' Nurse expected to coach Canada at FIBA World Cup

As if guiding the Toronto Raptors to their first appearance in the NBA Finals isn't enough, Nick Nurse may soon add to his resume on becoming a Canadian legend this summer.
According to Marc Stein of the New York Times, Nurse is the current frontrunner to be Canada Basketball's choice to coach the country's national team in the upcoming FIBA World Cup this summer, assuming a position similar to that occupied by San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich with USA Basketball.

According to the Peter Yannopoulos of TSN690, a deal is in place for Nurse to coach the Canadian national team, though an official announcement has not been released.
