As the start of the NBA season approaches, James Harden is still on the Philadelphia 76ers. With the star guard not having any real league-wide interest, the LA Clippers remain reluctant to meet Philadelphia's asking price. In a recent report from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, it was revealed the Clippers have kept versatile guard Terance Mann off limits in any Harden deal.

"That’s why this may play out over time, especially if the Clippers are not going to up their offer and include a Terance Mann in a deal, who has been off the table in these talks so far," Wojnarowski said. "And it keeps the Clippers from saying, ‘Listen, we’re not giving you two future first-round picks for a player in James Harden who might just be a one-year rental for us.’ But, you’re the Clippers and you go, ‘We know we’ve made the best offer for James Harden. There’s not a great James Harden market out there.' So that’s why this thing may be slow going well into the season."

With the 76ers wanting a return that keeps them in contention, or allows them to make an additional deal that keeps them on contention, anything less than Mann seems to be an offer they have no interest in. Could additional picks change that? That's what the Clippers are seemingly trying to find out.
