In an article from Shams Charania of The Athletic, it was reported that LA Clippers forward P.J. Tucker is unhappy with his role.

"Forward P.J. Tucker has expressed frustration about his current situation with the team, and both sides are discussing ways to resolve a role for him there or elsewhere, according to league sources," Charania wrote.

Tucker came to the Clippers in the James Harden trade, and was immediately given a rotation spot off the bench. After being a full-time starter with the Philadelphia 76ers, this bench role was a smaller one than Tucker had become used to, but it was still a spot in the rotation.

In 12 games with the Clippers before being removed from the rotation, Tucker averaged just 1.2 PPG and 2.4 RPG on 28.6% from the field and 27.3% from deep in 14.4 minutes per contest. While Tucker is not expected to stuff the stat sheet at this point in his career, he is also a team-worst -34 on the season.

This production led the Clippers to try rookie Kobe Brown in the backup power forward spot, and while he has experienced the ups and downs of getting NBA rotation minutes for the first time, his fit off the bench has already begun working better than Tucker's was.

As Charania included in his article, multiple contending teams around the league are monitoring the Tucker situation.
